The problem
Receipts for QuickBooks clients arrive as photos, emails and paper.
The result
Dext extracts the details and publishes them to QuickBooks as bills or paid expenses.
How to set it up: Dext
- In Dext: Business settings > Connections > Accounting software > Connect, then choose QuickBooks Online.
- Under Connections > Manage > Settings > Tax, turn on "Use tax list" and set default tax rates for costs and sales.
- Open an item, set Publish to: Bill for unpaid costs; Cash, Check or Credit Card for paid ones.
- Select Publish and check the item in QuickBooks Expenses.
