Sync SumUp sales and card fees to Xero every morning

The problem

Your SumUp reader takes the money but the numbers never reach your accounts.

The result

Every morning Xero gets yesterday's SumUp sales as an invoice and the card fees as a bill.

How to set it up: SumUp

  1. Check you are on SumUp POS Plus or Payments Plus, and your Xero plan includes unlimited invoices and bills.
  2. In SumUp, open Settings > Integrations > Accounting software and connect Xero.
  3. Choose how sales appear: by VAT rate, by category or by product.
  4. Next morning, check the "SumUp" invoice and fees bill in Xero.

Explain in plain English why SumUp sales show in Xero as an invoice to "SumUp" and how that invoice gets paid off when the payout reaches my bank.
