Does SumUp connect to Xero?
Built-in integrationYes. SumUp syncs the previous day's sales, fees and expenses into Xero every morning.
What it does
- Sales are logged in Xero as invoices (customer "SumUp") and transaction fees as bills.
- Sync runs every morning at 4:00 a.m. for the previous day.
- Choose how sales lines appear: one per VAT rate, per category or per product.
Limits and gotchas
- Needs SumUp POS Plus or Payments Plus, and a Xero plan with unlimited invoices and bills.
- Does not sync: data from before you connect, customer data, item catalogue/inventory, SumUp Business Account transactions, invoices paid by bank transfer or marked paid, or cashbook movements.
