Does QuickBooks Online connect to GoCardless?

Yes. QuickBooks Online UK lets you collect invoices and recurring invoices by GoCardless Direct Debit.

What it does

On an invoice, open Payment methods, expand Charge direct debit and turn on GoCardless.
The customer approves a Direct Debit mandate first (from the invoice, or in bulk via Customers > Batch actions).
GoCardless collects the payment on the invoice due date (QuickBooks says the process starts 10 working days before), then the payment is reconciled against the invoice automatically.
Use Make recurring for regular invoices.

Limits and gotchas

QuickBooks shows the GoCardless fee inline; it was 1% per transaction when we checked. Fees can change.
Per-transaction limits of £1 minimum and £5,000 maximum unless GoCardless raises your limit.
Card payments and Direct Debit can't both be switched on for the same invoice.
If a payment fails, the invoice goes back to Open.
