Square payouts arrive net of fees and are a pain to reconcile.
The result
Xero gets a daily Square sales summary, and processing fees are split out to a fees account automatically.
How to set it up: Square + Xero
- Install the Square app from the Xero App Store (or from Square's App Marketplace).
- Connect your Square account and choose your summary format.
- Check the bank rules Xero creates so Square fees go to your fees account.
- Reconcile Square deposits in Xero against the summaries.
